Good Day!

Thanks to Psychcf and jaymacdonald for helping me fix installation problem.

Unfortunately, I cannot login using the Username/Password i created during installation.

The login window displays "Unknown error occured. Check your installation"

Rey

Try reinstalling, something may be going on involving the database. If that doesn't work, check PHP's error logs and see if Lucid is logging anything to there.

Hi psychcf!

I reinstalled RC2 successfully but I still cannot login. This is the PHP log error entry:

PHP Warning: error_log(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are required to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'UTC' for '8.0/no DST' instead in C:lucidbackendliboutput.php on line 69

The error log file have this entry repeatedly, 14314 times to be exact.

That's probably the problem. Try playing around with your PHP settings so that it doesn't show warnings like that, or set the timezone in php.ini. If you have any problems with this, let us know.

Hi psychcf!

There is another problem I have encountered. After I log-out, I cannot login again. Though I have found a solution by manually clearing authenticated sessions, cookies using firefox. Here is the entry in the PHP error log file

Lucid Error: generic_err (user not logged in) PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method stdClass::logout() in C:\lucid\backend\core\user.php on line 141

ok, I think there's a problem involving php's session management now. it's most likely a PHP bug with IIS, since apache seems to work perfectly. I don't think the problem is with Lucid though, try searching around for an answer:
